Kelsey A. Zubkoff is an Attorney at Glen J. Dunn & Associates, and is excited to continue to hone and perfect her zealous advocacy skills as a trial attorney for her clients. Although she may be a young attorney, Kelsey has extensive experience taking and defending over 30 depositions, has completed a four panel jury mock trial for a multi-million dollar trucking accident, and has experience in both federal and state court trials spanning from mass toxic torts to patent infringement. Kelsey's favorite part of her job is connecting and forming relationships with the clients in each case, and she will never stop her fight to make sure that the only option is winning for her clients.
Kelsey’s first performance began at age 3 on her fireplace stage with her mom and aunts as her background dancers to the Lion King’s “I Just Can’t Wait to be King.” Singing is one of Kelsey’s passion, and she has tried out for American Idol and The Voice. Kelsey’s law ambitions were also sparked by Elle Woods at the age of 10, which lead her to her main passion in life, litigation. Passionate and extraordinary litigators often share qualities with good stage performers, and Kelsey plans to capitalize on that fact in the courtroom when advocating for her clients.
Kelsey began her legal academic journey at Indiana University, where she was heavily involved in student leadership and served on the Deans Student Advisory Board and the Student Bar Association. She was a 1L Summer Associate at a Chicago-based law firm and transferred to Chicago-Kent College of Law. Kelsey graduated early and earned her J.D. from Chicago-Kent with honors. While at Kent, she was awarded the Best Advocate and given the CALI Award of Excellence for her performance in Intensive Trial Advocacy. Further, Kelsey was selected to become a member of Chicago-Kent’s nationally ranked trial advocacy team where she developed her courtroom skills and competed in national competitions. Prior to law school, she graduated from her hometown’s Arizona State University with a B.A. in English (Literature). During law school, Kelsey gained experience as a law clerk for almost two years at a firm specializing in civil defense litigation.
Kelsey’s experience includes cases involving personal injuries, medical malpractice, commercial litigation, legal malpractice, breach of contract, labor and employment law, trust and estates, patent infringement and trade secret misappropriation. Before joining Glen J. Dunn & Associates to represent Plaintiffs, Kelsey worked as an Associate at a civil defense firm where she focused on catastrophic insurance defense and gained extensive experience in all aspects of litigation leading to trial.
Kelsey is from sunny Scottsdale, Arizona, but was also born and raised a die-hard Chicago sports fan. In her spare time, she volunteers as a coach for Chicago Kent’s nationally ranked trial advocacy teams, sings karaoke, or cheers for the Chicago Bears, Blackhawks, and Cubbies.
